Week 2 and 3

What is the relationship between arts and audiences?

1) We share stories to express our knowledge ad experiences and this has been going on for centuries. The storyteller usually tells story to entertain people because there were not may things to do back then.
2) A lot of stories have morals and morals help us in real life situations. It will give you advice for what and what not to do.
3) Artists can create layers of narrative by adding dramatic effect and add expressions and emotions. This will change the mood.

During today’s lesson we split into groups to create our own stories based on the Ramayana story. We decided not to adapt our story but did adapt it to a family audience. The narrator added some drama and emotions to change the audience's mood. We also decided that the music will change over time. We wanted to change our story but not everyone agreed but the story was set in a tropical island. Ravana was supposed replaced with an evil octopus and the  golden deer was supposed replaced with a golden dolphin.
